This is who we are
At Enthec we are technologists, but also humanists. We believe that technology placed at the service of human beings is the most powerful tool in history to achieve the common good, and that having a cybersafe digital environment is essential for progress. We are convinced that the future will be cybersafe or it will not be a good future, and we believe that achieving it is everyone’s responsibility.
Who are we?
Enthec is a Deep Tech software development and manufacturing company of Cybersecurity with a hacker approach to extend the scope of the cyber protection strategies of organisations.
Founded as a startup in 2019 by María Rojo, Enthec has grown through funding rounds and the success of its Kartos platform to consolidate its position as one of the Deep Tech companies with the most innovative and effective solutions in the field of Cybersecurity.
Mission
To provide our customers with the ability to deploy and extend their smart cyber security strategy beyond the internal perimeter, to keep under control any leaked and exposed information and external security breaches that could be used in a cyber attack.
Vision
An evolved cyber security based on intelligence-led strategies in extended operating environments, freed from the rear-view mirror effect of the purely defensive, barrier-based analogue prism.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Enthec is an organisation committed to common progress and aware that the construction of a fair and beneficial society for all has to be done among all within the possibilities of each one of us.
To meet this commitment, we have deployed two lines of action:
WE ARE CYBERGIRLS ASSOCIATION
Enthec is a collaborating partner of the We Are CyberGirls Association, through the commitment and activity of its CEO, María Rojo, and its CMO, Lola Miravet, who are part of its founding and management team. The cybersecurity sector is full of professional opportunities, with hiring profiles of all ages, competitive salaries, wide job offers and great possibilities for promotion and access to mid-high level positions. Despite all these advantages, it is a sector that does not seem to generally attract girls as a career option, even though the few women in the sector speak highly of their work.
We Are CyberGirls is a non-profit association that seeks to spread knowledge about Cybersecurity among girls aged 9 to 16 in order to break this dynamic and contribute to the incorporation of the female talent that our sector needs so much.
The aim of the We Are CyberGirls Association is to provide girls with details of the professional practice of the discipline in all its aspects, presented in an attractive and non-exclusive way, so that they can identify with the challenges it poses and the possibilities it offers and consider it as another option when choosing a training path.
The We Are CyberGirls Association’s educational activities are aimed at both girls aged 9 to 16 and their families and are based on four pillars:
– Information: the world of cybersecurity from the point of view of its employment possibilities, its studies and its contribution to society, through collaboration with both public and private educational institutions.
– Training: informative documentation for girls and their families on the threats they encounter in their daily lives and how to deal with them.
– Workshops and Games: online activities in the form of games, tests or quizzes to introduce them to different aspects of the cyber world.
– CyberGirls Day: We Are CyberGirls has created the only national event for girls to learn what cybersecurity and hacking is, how it influences their daily lives and what they can do to be part of this world in the future, if they want to.
